The Job

As Business Development Manager, you will seek new business opportunities for the company across the German market. You will identify and develop potential leads, establish strong relationships, understand what insurance solutions respond to customers’ demands and structure commercial deals. You will collaborate with the Head of Strategic Partnerships Germany and with other senior employees.

Our Client
  • Conduct extensive market research to identify companies of interest within the UK and Iberia markets
  • Create name leads lists and transform these opportunities into warm leads that you qualify, develop and build relationships with
  • Develop potential business partners, from market research to defining strategy and sales approach, conducting workshops, preparing, pitches and closing deals
  • Understand the needs, challenges and environment of business partners: their market position, their internal set-up, what sells to whom
  • Communicate and integrate a chosen approach and strategy into Companjon distribution team and project teams
  • Attend events to support the head of partnerships in order to increase the prospecting lists and increase the Companjon brand footprint
You Are
  • Min 3 years of prof. experience in the fintech/insurtech and/or ancillary revenue industry
  • Experience in prospecting and pipeline management is a must, experience in closing deals, ideally within the FinTech, Telco and Tech in a B2B environment, a strong plus
  • Strong sales background ideally in B2B sales and proven track record of making deals happen. The ideal candidate brings a list of contacts within the FinTech and/or Telco industries
  • Deep understanding, experience, and knowledge of digital platforms, ideally in mobility, travel, finance and/or experience sector / ideally in a sales, strategy or business analyst role
  • Experience in approaching and selling to C-level
  • Deep understanding of how different functions within digital platforms work hand-in-hand together: product, tech, marketing and sales in particular
  • Nice-to-have: previous experience with other B2B2C insurtech
  • Nice-to-have: previous experience in consulting
  • Education: Economics, Business Management
  • Technical: CRM (HubSpot), Powerpoint, Excel
  • Fluent in English and German
