Our Client

Our client, one of the leading global INSURTECH100 companies, is looking for a Business Developer who will join the Senior team building strong relationships with business partners and stay in close collaboration to maintain long term partnerships. You will foster growth by identifying new business opportunities within your assigned portfolio and beyond.

The ideal candidate is a client-focused problem solver with entrepreneurial mindset and outstanding presentation skills. They are highly structured, keeping up with deadlines and various contributors, constantly looking for ways to improve.

Key Responsibilities
  • Generate sales among business partner accounts within your designated portfolio, including upselling and cross-selling
  • Operate as the point of contact for assigned business partners 
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with accounts 
  • Generate insights from data and act as a trusted advisor to business partners
  • Forecast and monitor account metrics, keep records of policy transactions and customer happiness and report externally and internally
  • Regularly review end consumer needs are met at purchase as well as claims level
  • Identify opportunities to grow business with existing business partners and sometimes new ones 
  • Coordinate with Pricing, Solutions, Claims teams and other functions working on the same account to ensure consistent service and timely implementation
  • Service multiple clients concurrently, meeting their needs, and managing resources
You Are
  • With minimum 5 years of experience in the B2B insurance industry as an account manager 
  • Bachelor or Master degree in Economics (or similar)
  • Experienced in selling and managing parametric insurance
  • Strong sales background ideally in B2B sales and proven track record of making deals happen and growing accounts
  • Deep understanding, experience, and knowledge of digital platforms, ideally in mobility, travel, finance and/or experience sector / ideally in a sales, strategy or business analyst role
  • Nice-to-have: previous experience with other B2B2C insurtech 
  • Nice-to-have: previous experience in consulting
  • Technical: CRM, Powerpoint, Excel 
  • Fluent in English and German
