Our client is the market leader for ticket protection and insurance. They work with many leading ticket agencies, booking vendors, venues, platforms and events in the live events, theatre, sports, participatory and accommodation sectors. The company is rapidly expanding internationally with a particular focus on Europe.
The Job
You have a fantastic opportunity to join as a Business Development Executive who will focus on growing the brand and client base in European markets. You are a natural networker, collaborative and bring energy, confidence, and approachability to the business. You will interact with many stakeholders, including the internal team, new opportunities, and contacts and connections across the wider ticketing sector. You will be responsible for generating a strong pipeline of sales, managing the entire sales cycle from initial lead generation and qualification to agreeing commercials and contracts and ongoing account and partnership management.
Key Responsibility
- Generate meetings with prospective clients via Phone, Email and LinkedIn
- Pitch via Teams, Zoom and in person before developing proposals that meet client needs, concerns, and objectives
- Attend events and conferences, becoming a trusted face in the ticketing sector
- Submit landscaping lists, progress reports and forecasts on prospects and existing clients
- Ensure that data is accurately entered and regular contact and follow ups scheduled
- Market intelligence – ticketing industry – insurance market
- Product innovation
You Are
- Experienced in new business generation managing own pipeline of prospects and accounts
- With a background in any of the following sectors: Ticketing, Events and Venues, Sports, Participation, Travel & Tours, Transport or Accommodation.
- Willing to use own initiative and to own the client acquisition journey from lead generation through to partnership
- Enthusiastic, proactive, high degree of integrity, self-motivated, have excellent communication skills
- Fluent in German, English and ideally 1 other European language
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office and social media, particularly LinkedIn
- No travel restrictions – regular travel throughout Europe will be required
