You will be a project manager in London and will be the face to our insurance partners during the implementation and live stages of key projects.

The day-to-day job is a mix between business analyst & management consultant. You will engage with stakeholders internally (developers and product managers) and externally (insurance clients and distribution partners), scoping and delivering projects like new product launches.

We’re happy for a full stack developer but front end skills are a must.

Insurance – we all need it, most people are confused by it and few really “get it”. While most other things are now super easy to buy and handle online, insurance is still a nightmare. Existing legacy IT-systems stifle insurer innovation, meaning they can’t build new products quickly, offer them in digital channels, integrate cool new services or data and test, what works and what doesn’t, effectively.

Who We Are?
We’re an InsurTech business backed by some of the UK’s top investors incl. Seedcamp (Backers of: Transfer Wise, Property Partner and Revolut) and Chris Slater (Co-founder Simply Business, 500m exit).

We have an amazing technology platform, clients that are keeping us super busy and a clear vision of where the insurance industry is going and how we can help it get there! But to do that, we need to expand our awesome team.

The Job
We are looking for a self-organized middle/senior QA engineer with strong test automation experience. Test automation is a priority for us, as we need a very quick feedback about the system status several times per day. And at the same time QA Engineer is responsible for the quality of the system, so a good experience in testing itself is very important.

You should have analytical thinking and be driven by improving the system.

We want to hear from you directly. At the moment we are not engaging with recruiters.

Essential Skills:

  • Test automation experience not less than 1.5 years
  • Experience in software systems testing not less than 3 years
  • Experience in Front-End testing
  • Experience in Back-End testing
  • Understanding and knowledge of the main testing techniques and principles
  • A passion for making things work better
  • Experience in testing in Agile

Desirable skills:

  • Experience with test automation frameworks based on Java
  • Requirements analysis and review experience

Bonus skills:

  • Experience in insurance systems testing
  • Test planning
  • Setting up test automation framework from scratch

The technology
Currently we have just started setting up testing processes, writing tests and doing tests automation. We are using Java, Rest-Assured for API’s automation and will most probably use Selenium with WebDriver for Front-end in future when FE automation will be started, but any fresh vision or experience with some new and good framework is welcomed.
