We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Sales Operations Associate who will create a productive work environment for our Business Development Team. You will drive growth of our business by understanding and aligning the requirements of our customers, who are insurance customers, with our internal strategies by designing and implementing internal and external sales processes.

Insurance – we all need it, most people are confused by it and few really “get it”. While most other things are now super easy to buy and handle online, insurance is still a nightmare.

Existing legacy IT-systems stifle insurer innovation, meaning they can’t build new products quickly, offer them in digital channels, integrate cool new services or data, and test what works and what doesn’t, effectively.

The Job

You will be a Sales Operations Associate in Hamburg. Business development into insurance companies isn’t easy. Large or small, they are usually slow and reluctant to change, but they’re waking up to the fact that they need to adapt to modern demands. Your job will be to enable our business developers to rock the insurance world by creating the tools needed, this ranges from creating collaterals to designing processes and giving trainings. You will be focussing on understanding the internal project cycle and the clients’ needs by actively taking part in technical product scopings and onboardings with the clients, as well as communicating across teams to identify internal needs. Your goal will be to develop a customer experience that makes insurance truly sexy again.  

There will be plenty of work following up with existing opportunities but we really also want you to be curious and proactive and pursue potential wherever you see it.

Responsibilities include:

  • Design and implement internal processes that ensure productivity in a fast growing team in particular knowledge sharing strategies, sales analyses, trainings
  • Optimise processes particularly regarding product scoping and onboarding of new clients
  • Supporting our Business Developers with technical product scopes and client onboarding
  • Design and produce materials to educate clients and partners about KASKO’s solution
  • Manage tender processes
  • Prepare and execute product development and optimisation workshops with insurers
  • Contract Management

You are:

  • Fluent in English & German (additional languages even better)
  • A fresh graduate or with a little work experience
  • Curious, proactive and like to take responsibility for things

  • A great communicator, able to simply explain complex ideas and put them in comprehensive writing 
  • Eager to keep learning
