(Insurance & AI)
Based in Germany or the UK (remote)
Who we are

We’re an InsurTech company working with some of the largest and most innovative insurers and market participants across Europe (and beyond). We combine a battle-tested insurance operating system with hands-on, no-slides consulting, AI-assisted business processes, and established brand and thought leadership - delivering real transformation across products, distribution, operations, and AI.

Backed by years of hands-on insurance and technology experience, we have a clear view on where the industry is heading and how to help shape what comes next. To support that ambition, we are expanding our team.

We’re an international, diverse group with backgrounds ranging from insurance and technology to the humanities. We believe this diversity strengthens our thinking and helps us build better solutions.

The Job

At KASKO, Business Development is not about volume - it’s about clarity, preparation, and momentum before opportunities become fully commercial. We work upstream of traditional sales, helping insurers understand what’s possible, what’s worth pursuing, and how to move from ideas to execution.

As an Engagement Lead (Insurance & AI), you’ll sit at the centre of this work. You’ll ensure that early client conversations, workshops, and follow-ups are well prepared, well structured, and lead to concrete next steps. Your role is to create continuity - making sure insight, context, and intent don’t get lost between conversations.

This is a client-proximate, execution-heavy role. You’ll work closely with the CEO and senior team, actively participate in and drive client interactions, and take ownership of preparation quality and continuity across engagements. You’ll also help translate what works into repeatable formats, strengthening how KASKO operates over time.

The role is ideal for someone who enjoys operating close to clients and delivery, cares deeply about quality and follow-through, and wants to grow into broader responsibility over time.

 What You’ll Do:

  • Own preparation and follow-up for client conversations, workshops, and early commercial engagements

  • Actively participate and contribute in senior-level calls and working sessions with insurers and partners

  • Help design, run, and continuously improve workshop and conversation formats

  • Translate client discussions into clear next steps, proposals, and internal alignment

  • Develop structured materials such as playbooks, templates, and AI-supported assets

  • Ensure insights from client work are captured and turned into reusable formats

Over time, this role can grow into:

  • Independently leading selected client workshops and working sessions

  • Taking ownership of parts of ongoing client relationships

  • Leading specific topic areas or engagement formats within the Business Development function

About You

You’re likely to be a strong fit if you:

  • Are fluent in both German and English

  • Have a university degree in Business, Economics, or a related field

  • Bring several years of experience in consulting, business development, account management, or a comparable client-facing role

  • Have experience in insurance, financial services, or a related regulated industry

  • Are confident and composed in professional client settings, including senior stakeholders

  • Combine structured thinking with pragmatic execution

  • Can prioritise effectively in a fast-moving, low-friction environment

  • Are comfortable exercising judgment when information is incomplete

  • Take ownership, communicate clearly, and hold yourself to high quality standards

  • A collaborative, international working environment

  • The opportunity to be part of a company intentionally building towards an AI-first way of working

  • A role with real ownership and meaningful client exposure within KASKO’s Business Development function

  • An attractive salary package

  • Stock options, so you own part of KASKO’s success

  • Unlimited holiday – you are responsible for managing your own time off

  • Flexible working hours and the freedom to work from anywhere in Germany or the UK
