Operations & Business Support Specialist
with focus on process improvement
Latvia (Remote)
Who we are

We are an InsurTech business working with some of the biggest and most innovative insurers in Europe, and have been growing our customer base steadily.

We have an amazing technology platform, a broad range of clients that are keeping us super busy, lots of experience, an amazing network of InsurTech and Insurance experts and a clear vision of where the insurance industry is going and how we can help it get there! But to do that, we need to expand our awesome team.

Our team is a diverse group of professionals with backgrounds in insurance, tech, languages, and beyond - and we believe that variety is our strength. We’re collaborative, ambitious, and always curious.

Now, we are looking for a new team member to join our journey!

The Job

We are seeking a proactive and versatile Operations & Business Support Specialist to join our team and take on a central support role across the company. This role offers unique exposure to multiple functions - from HR and Business Development to directly supporting our CEO - making it a fantastic fit for someone who enjoys variety and wants to see how different parts of a business connect.

The position starts with a focus on managing internal chasers and administrative tasks, but you’ll also be encouraged to notice inefficiencies, highlight where processes could be improved, and suggest when automation might be the answer. You don’t need to build the automation yourself - we have a team for that - but you’ll be the first to spot opportunities and make sure they are captured. It’s an ideal role for someone who enjoys making things run smoothly and is naturally curious about process improvement.

Responsibilities include:

  • Internal coordination: Manage chasers, follow-ups, and day-to-day administrative support

  • Central support: Act as a hub for internal requests, ensuring smooth communication and task management across the team

  • Process improvement: Identify repetitive or inefficient tasks and suggest ways to simplify them, including automation opportunities

  • Project assistance: Support ad-hoc projects and take ownership of specific initiatives as they arise

  • Business development support: Assist with research, coordination, and outreach activities when capacity allows

  • Flexibility: Take on additional responsibilities as the company grows and your role evolves.

About You

  • Fluent in Latvian and English (German is a strong plus)

  • Previous background in administration, operations, or a similar support role

  • Strong organisational and time management skills - you enjoy keeping things on track and running smoothly

  • Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal

  • A proactive mindset - you see what needs to be done and take initiative

  • Curiosity about new tools and processes - you don’t need to implement automation yourself, but you should enjoy noticing inefficiencies and suggesting improvements

  • Flexibility and eagerness to learn new things as the role evolves

We Offer

  • A collaborative and international working environment

  • Opportunities for professional development within a growing InsurTech business

  • An attractive salary package with stock options included

  • Unlimited holiday - you manage your own time off

  • Flexible working hours and remote work from anywhere in Latvia

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to play a key role in keeping a fast-moving company running smoothly, while also shaping how the team works smarter over time.
